Finally getting back into the groove of things after coming home from visiting family. We had a blast-except that the kids were STILL sick! Unfortunately, I was not able to slide by without getting a cold as well. I thought for SURE I was gonna slide by! However, I was still able to go out shopping with mom on Saturday! It was great. I learned about how to buy quality stuff for the kids, how to make sure that I have 100% cotton everything for the sake of my kids' eczema, and have a few laughs along the way! My mom is the coupon queen so we were able to get some nice stuff for the kids at good prices. Always good, huh? My cousin and I used to laugh at how our mothers could shop for 8 hours without stopping. I used to think that was stuff of legends, but I got to experience this first hand! After 8 hours I was wilting, shaking, and ready to go home. My mom, on the other hand, was going strong. Especially, after she stopped and picked up a new pair of kicks at Macy's! No stopping a woman on a mission! I can't wait to put all of the new bedding into the kids' rooms. I'll post pics when they're done. Although-I'm telling you now that it won't be until next month.

BTW, I just HAVE to comment on the BEAUTIFUL colors of fall! I am in AWE of God's artistic and creative hand in HIS very creation! How can one not look out at the gold, red, and magenta colors of fall and not thank God for this beautiful scenery?

Well- I went and did something exciting today-but I'll tell you about it next week. I'll see you tomorrow for crafty Friday.

hey dija, i heard you were in Co. It's always good to visit the fam right? I hope you ate good and got a little relaxation in. This post made me laugh b/c you know mom is up here with me till i have the baby and we went shopping yesterday. If i didn't threaten her that my car was going to get towed, we would still be in the mall right now! They will close down a store!! I've been going thru it since I was a little girl and still ain't use to it. I did learn the tricks to bargain shopping though. Fall is beautiful! It's truly my favorite time of year. We need to get the kids together!! I miss you. Love ya!
