Hi! Welcome to Crafty Friday! Today I'm going to show how to make and easy "rag wreath".
I wanted to make some quick, cheap and easy changes around the house for spring so I came up with this rag wreath. It was inspired by the book wreath. How to at Living with Lindsey.

But I just was getting impatient and wanted to use things I already had at home. So I came up with a "rag wreath" using leftover sewing scraps.

You need:
1 place mat with basket weave design
lots of fabric
scraps cut into 2-3 inch squares (the more squares the fluffier your wreath!)
scissors
and paint brush with a slim handle
Instructions:
1. Take a scrap and place it over the one of the holes in the place mat
2. Take the end of the paintbrush and push the middle of the square into the hole and slightly twist so it creates a small rosette look
3. Repeat for all of the holes
4. Do this while listening to music or watching a movie. It takes a while! :)
