Okay, I've just come to the conclusion that it's that time of year where I'm gonna fall behind on everything...get it? "FALL" behind? HAHA!.....okay, . Since I missed Crafty Friday two times in a row, I've decided that I've GOT to share craftiness before next Friday. So hello SATURDAY!
For my niece's birthday last weekend I really wanted to make something special and for me, that equals handmade. The special ingredient is love...and...well soft n crafty 100% premium polyester Fiber fill...and some felt, a needle, scissors, and thick thread from Joanne's fabric...well not the love. That's from my heart. My niece just turned two and I thought it would be helpful to have little soft shapes to touch while she learned to recognize shapes. My daughter really wanted to add the eyeballs to the carrot, butterfly, and heart. Who says your food can't stare right back at you?

ooh there's a speck on my grapes!

I decided to add a little drawstring backpack to hold all of her toys using muslim and really thick strapes. I used ink and stamps to add the flowers and petels to the bag.

Thanks for reading! What are some of your favorite gifts to give? Special ingredient-love.
