Everyday holds wonderful manifestations of God's love. He teaches me lessons through my children and the journey of life. I found out that one just has to open their eyes and start looking at the mundane in a creative way.

Family Update
Dija Henry

Wow, it's been a while since I've been able to get on here and write. First, an update on Hadessa. Since being home Hadessa had an allergic reaction to the Keflex antibiotic-which I found out is in the same family as the amoxicilan. I don't know if I spelled that correctly. Anyway, the doctors recommended prednisolone to treat the reaction becuase it could be potentially dangerous. If she kept scratching we could end up back where we started with the skin infection. Do to issues with insurance we had to wait a few days to get the medication but meanwhile the rash began to spread to her thighs and chest. So we made the hard decision to go ahead with the prednisolone. This was so hard knowing the side effects of the medication but seeing the rash spread and her itching increase caused us to go ahead with it. She also had to get something called dermasmooth for her scalp. But that cost $60.00 so we had to wait for the insurance again. I was able to use the arbonne wash and arbonne baby oil for a few days and that really helped to give her some relief. Even the dermatologist said that her scalp looked a lot better!

Today we went to the microscopist and it was very intersting to look at the live blood. We were able to see a lot of yeast and other things indicating possible B12 deficiency as well as digestive issues. But one REALLY COOL thing was I got to see a real live fighter cell EAT up some of the  yeast! SO COOL!!!!!! I mean God is AWSOME in His design! I am going to try and find it on the DVD and upload it so you can see! SO freakin' COOL!

Alot has happened. We need to keep improving diet and completely get rid of sugar (even brown sugar.) I think stevia might work well for us.

The play will start rehearsing in a few weeks so I need to work on meal planning majorly to prepare the family. I want us to be able to go on autopilot for lack of better words. I don't want the stress of thinking up meals or thinking up things to do with the kids. I want scheduled activities and schedules for the house, etc.

Selah is doing pretty well. Struggling with swollen tonsils possibley due to allergies and Micaiah is rockin' and rollin with talking and playing with his sisters. Hadessa made up a word the other day- "leg pit". The part of the body behind the knee. HILARIOUS!
