Everyday holds wonderful manifestations of God's love. He teaches me lessons through my children and the journey of life. I found out that one just has to open their eyes and start looking at the mundane in a creative way.

Itchy fits

Hadessa is doing a little bit better. she has her "itchy fits" still and I have to give her benadryl to keep the itchiness down but we are working on mentally calming down when she gets frustrated. I've also tried to reduce the choices i give her during the day in hopes to decrease the burden on her. i didn't realize how many choices I give her during the day and that it's overwhelming to her. I knew already that children should not have too many choices too make becuase it can be very overwhelming but I realize for Hadessa it puts pressure on her. She is very good at talking her way out of things or manipulating the situation for her benefit. I in turn am all about compromise and hearing both sides of the story-not good with a pre-schooler. So I have to take some responsiblity and be tougher with her. Parenting is definately a learning process and each child is so different!

I've added sulpher tablets to her daily regimen (I also give it to my 3 year old who's eczema is not as bad.) this was the reccommendation of Julie down at our health food store. she is very knowledgable and very kind. We are also adding a different probiotic-Cultural. this probiotic is the best. My husband used it to knock out C-diff from his belly when nothing else worked. (He also used oregano oil.

I guess I'll mention myself as well in that I think that a lot of my "fibromyalgia" symptoms were really allergy symptoms. Selah-my 3 year old peed on our bed one night and I didn't sleep in my room for a week while i washed everything on the bed. But the wierdest thing happened. the mornings I woke up from sleeping on the couch were not painful, not groggy, not extremely fatigued. I mean it's CRAZY!! I say allergies because the mattress came from my dear mother-in-law who had it for 5 years but she had a cat. I'm very VERY allergic to cats. hence the allergens I have been sleeping on for years now. I can't tell you the change I've had. I've been working out more and have more energy. I'm more alert, I have more patience, I can take the kids out during the day. I feel like a different person totally. i still struggle with staying in my sleep at night. I get up for at least one child EVERY night and then I'm just awake. I've been taking Melatonin to stay asleep but i wake up feeling sleepy (not fatigued) so I might try something else when this bottle is finished.

I'm takeing vitamin C packets 3 times a day as well. i want to get on my Arbonne Vitamins as soon as we can afford it because I KNOW they help me ALOT. So still working on my sleep and still working on keeping consisitant with exercise as well. But over all I hope to get back to massages and acupuncture/acupressure or myofascial release work.

(I turned 30 this past week as well! woohoo!)
