Last time, your dear little dija realized she needed to take a break. Now that she has taken her "selah", has gotten her head together as well as some action plans for ministry work. Which definately help one move forward in one's goals. But- enough third person reflection.
I feel extremely excited about the action plan that lays ahead. I didn't realize how much a few action steps help. But you can't write down action steps if your going full steam ahead now can you? You must pull over, stop the car, pull out the pen and paper, pray for some gudiance and then start writing. They say that when you write things down they are more likely to happen. Well that's all fine and dandy dear-but it doesn't help if you can't figure out what to write. And that is where my dearest dareskedar came into play. After talking about "how we talk through problem solving"-which is common for us-we were able to move forward into the real meat of things. At the end of a few hours of hardy communication I had two pages in my journal filled with lovely lists and bullet points. I don't really have a little neat tie up for this blog so instead I'll share a few pics of what I did with the kids the other day.
If you are a child of the '80's or younger in the century (don't you like how I put that?) then you will remember this remedy for hot days. After trying desperately to clean the garage while the kids played outside-I decided to throw all responsiblity to the wind (which there was none of on this day) and be a kid again. It was...liberating.

What are some things that you do to get some relief from the heat? Please post a comment!
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
