Everyday holds wonderful manifestations of God's love. He teaches me lessons through my children and the journey of life. I found out that one just has to open their eyes and start looking at the mundane in a creative way.

My exciting weekend
Dija Henry

This weekend I had a blast shooting my first fully produced commercial for Hope Magazine, a christian magazine for women started right here in Indianapolis by Angelia White. It was a great experience and done completely by volunteers! Dave White of Dream Vision Media Partners did the cinematography and directing. Dave was gracious enough to teach me about lighting, blocking for film, and shooting tons of B roll during the shoot. I want to thank all of the wonderful and talented actresses that lent their gifts to the commercial!

That's a wrap!

Right after the shoot I had to head out to the Religion in the News Appreciation Banquet where the guests of the show for the past year were honored as well as foundational members of Religion in the News and the Interchurch Federation of Indianapolis IN.

Consequently Dave White was also a honored for his 30 years of experience on radio and tv. I feel blessed to be learning from someone like Dave White.

So now to the important part...what was I wearing! lol!

Dress my mom bought me last summer that I FINALLY had a place to where it! I know what you're asking. What shoes did you wear?

Sunday was teen sunday. The teens ran the worship service and provided the special peformances. It was really beautiful to see the teens come together and share their talents for the Glory of God. We have a lot of talented teens at Trinity Baptist Church. Darye, my husband, brought the message in a very candid way that the teens were able to relate to. But to tell you the truth I think a lot of adults, myself included, were able to relate to the message as well. What are you hearing? What are you doing? And what are the consequences?

I produced a short video with the teens in hopes for our church to get to know them better. But I think that their struggles go across the board. You can go to my youtube channel to see the video or you can click here to  go to the video directly.
