Tonight is opening night of the play I'm in called Grace Beyond Humanity. We experienced an eventful dress rehearsal. One of our back stage managers had a fall and broke her arm. Please pray for her full recovery. This situation made me really think about how is an "attack" from the enemy successful? . God is sovereign and satan must get permission from God (see the book of Job) to do anything to His children. Romans 8:28 says "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,who have been called according to his purpose." I think the answer is in the REACTION we choose to give. An enemy could do many things. Fight with a sword, gossip, or snap at us. But it's how we react is what defines the success. Do you block the attack with your sword? Do you choose to show love and forgive the one who gossiped behind your back? Do you go down on your knees and pray when your overwhelmed instead of becoming snappy? I know I've failed at times in all these areas but last night I felt a sense of victory. The cast was able to come together and pray, wait for the ambulance, and continue the run through. All in good spirits! We CANNOT control our circumstances 100% but we can control our reactions. And if we feel out of control, we can react by giving it to God. Here is a clip from some video I took of behind the scenes sneek peeks for the play that is opening tonight. If you want to reserve free tickets visit sites.google.com/sites/gracebeyondhumanity .
