Inspire(d) Blog

Everyday holds wonderful manifestations of God's love. He teaches me lessons through my children and the journey of life. I found out that one just has to open their eyes and start looking at the mundane in a creative way.

This is an update blog on what I was doing those two weeks I didn't post. I was traveling the European countryside getting footage for my new film called..."just kidding"...

Seriously, just kidding...

Okay what really happened is that my dear cousin who is also a playwright, came up to visit. I am helping to produce her FABULOUS play called The Million Dollar Man. We spent the entire week scouting out theaters and finally settled on a beautiful theater where the Heartland Film Festival hosts their closing events every year! I will be posting an interview with her at a later date. Also, I've been working diligently on pre production on A Song for Peace. Since my computer had the audacity to crash on me I had to spend another week re editing scripts! (It's all good now.) Whew! So I feel some sort of order to my life...not really...just a little more order than last week and now I can focus on the thing I love to do this time of year. I LOVE TO CLEAN!!! Really  I do! Spring is in the air. It calls for light colors and clean garages. I know my husband is probably dreading the question of "Honey which weekend do you have free to clean with me?"

Any way-I am trying to talk myself into taking my own advice from my last post. I really want to start vlogging. Which is different from my quirky videos about motherhood. This would just be me talking about my life. I feel like my life is completely unexciting (for now) and worry that I'll have nothing good to say. I worry about the  "haters" I hear about and am starting to feel my age as I am out of the loop with who Taylor Lautner is dating now. But I knew his name so that counts right? HAHA! The problem is that I feel compelled to take advantage of this resource for letting out my creativity. I'm the type of person who has to see the WHOLE PICTURE before I get started and frankly I can't see it. But I guess sometimes you have to jump in with both feet and let God paint it for you. I suppose that's why we only have two eyes in the front of our heads instead of all the way around where we could capture a full circle view of everything at each moment. (sorry that sounds gruesome, doesn't it?)

red high heels

Well. I KNOW I'm rambling. I'm trying to find something that might inspire me to do this vlogging thing. I've renamed the channel "Sweatpants and High Heels" because sometimes mom's are in sweatpants and sometimes we rock heels...and that's just normal life for

now.

I want to hear from you guys! What are somethings that you were scared of doing but did it anyway? How did you get over the stupid fear?
