Hello! I just wanted to take some time to thank you all for your comments and encouragement this past year concerning the Creative Mother blog. I had no idea how God would use this medium to bless others through me. I feel extremely humbled and joyful at this privilege to keep blogging and sharing what God teaches me through motherhood. I had no idea that sharing the craziness that happens in my head would be of any interest to anyone else! SURPRISE! (to me). I hope that you have been encouraged, amused, or inspired by this blog in some way. Please continue to share your thoughts with me as it encourages, amuses and inspires me as well! I am blessed to call you all sisters and brothers in Christ. Keep up the good fight and let us lift each other up along the way!
Well, you've probably noticed that the Holidays have seemed to coincide with the decrease in frequency of my blogs. Other than the OBVIOUS: Thanksgiving, getting ready for Christmas, my daughter's birthday, my son's birthday and my husband's birthday, I've been rehearsing for a play that is set to open in January. We have recently added another rehearsal a week to our schedule to step up the acting and "BRING IT" as my director loves to say!
I've also enrolled the girls in dance classes at the Y and while I was at it, I decided to take a class as well. SO FUN! And good exercise. I've also been working on something SO SPECIAL to me! I've actually completed a first draft to my first one woman show focusing on the ups and downs of motherhood. I did some research on the one woman show and kept thinking, "how does one person tell a story that is interesting for like an hour? Doesn't that get boring?" But I found some really cool shows to watch and found that this is a really interesting medium to share a message! Thanks to everyone who shared some of their personal "mommy" stories. I'm looking forward to sharing the final product soon!
