Everyday holds wonderful manifestations of God's love. He teaches me lessons through my children and the journey of life. I found out that one just has to open their eyes and start looking at the mundane in a creative way.

Friday, January 08, 2010 10:25 AM The effects of bible study in my life Dija Henry Today I completed my first week of the reading the bible through the year bible study. My Pastor actually took the time to pray for us that we would stay consistent with our studies. So far every morning and every night I FEEL the effects of that prayer! It's quite hilarious actually that when I even think about skipping because I'm tired I CAN'T because I remember the prayer! Let us pray for one another and remember those who are trying to stay committed to feeding their minds and hearts with God's Word. I have really noticed a difference in my days already. Even though there are times when I get frustrated with the kids I somehow am brought to peace because of the time I spent with the Lord in the morning. I REALLY hope I can continue this habit because it makes such a difference in my life.       A Prayer for you: Lord, I thank you so much for drawing us near to Yourself. It is not what we have done that gives us any merit with You but by Your amazing grace and love for us you have given us Your Spirit and a desire to seek You. Please bless my brothers and sisters this day who are trying to stay focused on You through. Help us not to try and do things in our own strength but in Your strength. Help us to live peaceably with one another. Forgive us for our sins and deliver us from evil. In Jesus' precious name. Amen.   Update: I have added a new page to my site just sharing some of the creative projects I will be working on this year.
